August 12: The Right Kind of Fuel

I've enjoyed listening to 91.5 FM Victory station today. I heard a devotion about when we're running on empty that has stuck with me. Just like a car, we need fuel, but we can't just pour any liquid into our tank, we can't fill up on junk; we need to fill up with God's spirit. Sometimes we run on empty and the easiest thing to do is just grab the most convenient thing whether that's popularity, money, chocolate, etc. However, this fuel won't sustain us; we'll quickly fall again. The only thing that will continually provide for us is God. Go to him to fill up and stay filled up.
