April 5: A "Sonny" Day

It has been a great day, and it seems that it is easy to find God in all the good, especially when I'm surrounded by believers. The Easter services were powerful this morning: everyone was dressed in their best clothes and was in the best mood; the music was superb, and there was so much excitement in the air. Despite all this, my favorite part of the day was seeing the lovely Maddy and Whit Paris on the big screen during the children's moment. I have not seen this family in months, and even though Mary Elizabeth could not be there, it made my day to see part of her family. That is God's faithfulness. A year of prayer and healing and she is nearly back to full health--that is an Easter miracle.
