I'm helping with a preschool music camp this week, and in the 4-year-old class, there is one set of twins that caught my attention today. Their names are Charlie (boy) and Manning (girl). Charlie was upset because he got separated from Manning, and then began to miss his Grammy. When Manning found out how sad he was, she came over and gave him a big hug, held his hand, and talked with him. (Remember: they're only 4!) He was still a little sad, but the support Manning had given him had made a huge difference. She knew exactly what he needed in that situation.
We all need a Manning--someone to hug us and hold us and know exactly what we need. Lucky for us, we all have a Heavenly Father who sent His only son so that He could be our Manning. So have no fear; Manning is always here.
