January 20: Busyness

Today, I struggle to find a moment when I saw God. This isn't because he wasn't there; he's always here, but because I passed by every opportunity to see him. I woke up late and didn't have time for a devotional. I barely stopped to pray before meals because physical hunger was overpowering spiritual hunger. So now, as I stare at a nearly blank page, I see God. I see all that I've missed through the day, and in a way, I see Him brighter than ever before!
