January 13: Prayer

I cannot stress enough the importance of talking to our dad in heaven. As I mentioned earlier, I was at a Flood retreat a few days ago. A large part of that night was spent discussing the highs and lows of the past semester, and during that, we decided that this semester, our focus needed to be on prayer rather than planning. Our first chapter meeting of the semester was yesterday, and attendance was the best we've had in a while. We had girls and boys, and we didn't have leftover food. The room was full of students, but it was packed with God's presence. Let's not rely on the world or our plans, but instead, let's rely on God.
