September 5-6: Watching Worship
In the past two days, I have had the privilege of watching others worship; sometimes, this provides me with a better form of worship than my own singing. Last night, I stood in an amphitheater, surrounded by thousands, of all ages and backgrounds, who were in the moment, giving their all to the Lord. It was beautiful. This morning, because of technical failures, I sat on stage with a dysfunctional camera in my lap, watching the congregation join together in praise to the Lord. I often take for granted our freedom to have the ability to join together and worship boldly; thank you, God, for giving your son that we might know you and for placing me in a country where I am not persecuted for my faith.
