It was such a beautiful day today! The sun finally came out, and it was cool and breezy. I was walking with my dog, and we passed by a playground where a mom and dad were playing with their young child who seemed to be enjoying the playground for one of the first times.
Of course, Mom and Dad were a little nervous, so Dad was on the ground cheering on his girl, and Mom was tailing her as she toddled towards the slide. And just as the little girl was about to toddle right onto the slide, where she would've tumbled down, the mom grabbed her and reminded her to sit down first.
Have you ever been so excited or eager to do something that you nearly forget the safety cautions? Or maybe you're trying something new, and you didn't realize you were at risk until later when you've seen the danger pass you by? Good news! God's got your back. He's there to remind you to sit, and even to catch you when you fall. Listen and trust his presence.
