July 12: Remember to Be Thankful

I think it's easy to get caught up in the craziness in such a way that prayer becomes a quick "dear God, please____" rather than a conversation and reflection with God, a time of thankfulness, praise, and reunion. It's important to be thankful and recognize all we've been given, as Jesus did before each miracle he performed. We've been blessed by more than we can ever realize, but our appreciation will grow as we give thanks.
